OVERVIEW
The Childrensalon Holiday Gift Box was developed as a seasonal packaging concept to elevate the festive experience beyond standard e-commerce touchpoints.
The challenge was to create a premium, gift-led format that felt collectible and immersive while maintaining the clarity and quality of the brand.
I led the outer box concept and contributed to the wider visual direction, balancing structural design with character-led storytelling.
Impact: Drove a 30% increase in sales and 5K units sold across the festive period.

Visual System
The gift box was designed as a premium structural piece that doubled as a playable board game, extending the experience beyond unboxing.
Early concepts explored AI-generated directions for characters and visual motifs, but to ensure consistency and production-ready quality, I transitioned to a fully illustrated approach, collaborating with an external illustrator to refine the final character set.
The system extended across packaging and interactive components, including custom counters and game pieces, with materials and finishes considered to balance playfulness with a polished, high-quality finish.



Outcome
The final gift box transformed packaging into a keepsake experience, reinforcing Childrensalon’s premium positioning while encouraging family interaction and extended engagement throughout the festive period.
Launched as part of the seasonal campaign, it supported increased engagement across digital and in-store touchpoints.
